Eligibility

By using this website and placing an order, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. If you do not have the legal capacity, you may not use this website or place orders.

Modification of Terms

CARDSandBANNERS reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this website. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

Customer Provided Content

File Requirements

Designs not set up according to our templates will be rejected. We will not modify your artwork. Only files that are print-ready and properly formatted will be accepted.

You agree not to upload or submit content that:

  • Is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or promotes racism or discrimination.
  • Invades another person's privacy.
  • Would further the commission or concealment of a crime.
  • Advocates or urges treason, insurrection, sedition, or forcible resistance to any U.S. law.
  • Is not lawfully yours to transmit.
  • Infringes on patents, trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights, rights of publicity, or other intellectual property rights.
  • Contains viruses, trojans, malware, or other harmful code.

We reserve the right to refuse to print any order that may potentially violate state or federal laws or that is deemed immoral or unethical at our sole discretion.

We reserve the right to refuse service without disclosing a reason.

Copyrighted Materials

We take copyright laws seriously and strictly comply with all legal requirements. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any uploaded files, logos, or artwork do not infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights. This includes images of celebrities, public figures, or other content requiring explicit permission. By placing an order, you confirm you have the legal right to use the content and assume full responsibility for any legal claims or disputes arising from unauthorized use. We reserve the right to reject or cancel orders, and terminate accounts, that may violate copyright or publicity rights.

Copyright and trademark laws strictly prohibit the unauthorized reproduction of protected materials under Title 17 of the United States Code (Copyright Act) and the Lanham Act (Trademark Law). This includes, but is not limited to, famous brand names, logos, sports team names and mascots, celebrity images or likenesses, photographs or artwork created by others, and characters from movies, television shows, or cartoons. Any attempt to reproduce or distribute these materials without express written authorization from the rights holder constitutes infringement and may result in significant legal liability. For this reason, we are legally obligated to refuse printing of any such content.

Printing, Spelling & Graphics

You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all spelling, phone numbers, and other details before approving the final proof. We will verify that file specifications meet our layout and resolution standards and provide a digital proof upon request, but we do not check for spelling, punctuation, font legibility, or content errors. Colors may vary due to differences in device screen settings, and we cannot guarantee exact color matching. All artwork is converted to CMYK for printing, which may cause color shifts from RGB. We are not liable for color matching or ink density on approved proofs.

Large format prints are produced using media rolls and hand trimming. Due to heating, drying, roll advancement, and manual cutting, there is always a small margin of error in the final dimensions. The industry standard cutting tolerance for large format printing is up to 1/4 inch (0.25"), and in some cases slightly larger depending on the product. This refers to the slight variation that can occur when a printed piece is trimmed to its final size.

Orders are typically approved within 4-24 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. Production takes 2-8 business days, depending on product type and order volume. Delivery takes 2-6 business days via UPS or FedEx, depending on location and shipping option. These times are estimates, not guarantees, and delays may occur during holidays, severe weather, or peak seasons. Once an order is sent to print, it cannot be canceled, modified, or have its delivery address changed.

Proofs and Approvals

If a digital proof is requested, you must respond with your approval. If we do not receive approval after three contact attempts or within 7 days, the order will be canceled and a cancellation fee will apply.

Proofs & Color Accuracy

Online proofs are provided to confirm layout, cuts, bleed, and folds. They are not intended to represent exact color or resolution. Colors viewed on a screen use RGB color mode, while printing uses CMYK color mode, which may result in color shifts. Final printed colors may differ from what is displayed in the proof or on your device screen. By approving a proof, you accept responsibility for the layout and content of the file.

Color Proofing, Matching & Printing

All products are printed using CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black). All artworks will be converted to CMYK prior to being sent to production. If your artwork is not in CMYK color mode, it is likely that a color shift will occur. RGB color mode is only for computer viewing and not for printing, therefore, once converted to CMYK you will notice a color shift. Digital proofs predict layout, text accuracy, and image placement, but not color or density. We strive to match the gradient density, but we are not liable for the final color appearance. Gang-run printing may combine multiple orders on a single sheet, and applying High-Gloss UV Coating may alter the color appearance. We are not liable for color changes in UV-coated products.

Envelopes and Letterhead Paper Effects

For uncoated letterhead and envelope paper stock, we recommend using light colors. Dark colors with high density (e.g., black, purple, blue) may soak into the paper, affecting appearance.

Order Changes and Cancellations

Once an order has been sent to print, it cannot be canceled or modified, including shipping address changes. To request an address correction, you must contact us within 6 hours of placing your order or before the order is sent to print, whichever comes first. If you wish to cancel an order that has not yet gone into production, please email us as soon as possible and include your order number in the subject line.

  • Cancellations made within 7 business days for orders not yet sent to print may qualify for a refund, minus a $5 processing fee.
  • Orders older than 30 days that have not been sent to print are not refundable, but may be eligible for store credit.

Returns and Refunds

Since each order is unique to the customer and has no resale value, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. If we make an error, you may file a claim immediately upon receiving your shipment by logging into your account and selecting Report an Order Issue. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Shipping Policy

  • We ship to the 48 contiguous U.S. states only. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, international addresses, PO Boxes, or temporary addresses.
  • Free shipping, when offered, applies only to the initial shipment. Re-shipments due to incorrect addresses, missed deliveries, or returns are the customer’s responsibility.
  • If UPS or FedEx returns a package due to an invalid address, multiple missed delivery attempts, or a move, you will be responsible for re-shipping charges. If payment is not made within 10 days, the order will be discarded, and no refund will be issued.

Design Time

Design time represents labor by our graphic designers and is non-refundable.

File Re-upload

If you need to upload a new file, you may do so only if your order has not been approved for production or sent to print. Each order includes one free file re-upload. Additional re-uploads for the same order will incur a $10 non-refundable service fee per submission. Re-uploading requires manual processing and new proofs, and your turnaround time resets after you approve the updated proof.

Pricing

All prices are subject to change without notice. No adjustments will be made for previously placed orders.

Account Creation & Security

If you create an account on this website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account. CARDSandBANNERS is not liable for any loss or damage arising from failure to protect your account information.

Termination of Accounts

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate any account or refuse service at any time without prior notice if we believe you have violated these Terms of Service or engaged in unlawful or abusive conduct.

Restrictions on Site Use

You agree not to use this website in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the website. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Uploading or transmitting viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • Using automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or data-mining tools
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Reverse-engineering or modifying website functionality
  • Using the site for spam, fraudulent activity, or unlawful purposes

DMCA Policy

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used or displayed on this website in a way that constitutes infringement, please send a written notice to our designated DMCA agent at info [at] cardsandbanners.com. Your notice must include:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  2. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with sufficient detail to locate it
  3. Your contact information (name, address, email, phone)>
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information provided is accurate and you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
  6. Your physical or electronic signature

Disclaimer of Warranties

This website, its content, and all products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. CARDSandBANNERS disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to this website.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CARDSandBANNERS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use this website or our products, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order shall not exceed the amount paid for that order.
