Greeting cards will arrive flat, and they will have a professional machine-made score or crease in the middle where they can fold with ease.

Do greeting cards come with envelopes?

No, greeting cards are printed without envelopes. For custom envelopes, check our "Envelopes" category. Choose envelopes slightly larger than your folded greeting card in both height and width to ensure a proper fit.

Can I write on greeting cards?

Yes, but it depends on the cardstock. Glossy finishes enhance color vibrancy but are not writable. Uncoated cardstocks are best for writing. You can also choose glossy outside and non-glossy inside for versatility.

How do I set up greeting card orientation?

Horizontal Fold (Top-to-Bottom Fold)

Outside Design (One File):

  • Contains both the front cover and back cover in a single design file.
  • Layout: Place the back cover at the bottom and the front cover at the top.
  • Orientation: The front cover must be rotated 180° (upside down) so it appears correctly when folded.
  • Example: When the file is viewed upright, the back cover is right-side up, and the front cover is upside down.

Inside Design (One File)

  • Contains both the top and bottom parts of the inside in a single design file.
  • Layout: The top part (above the fold) and bottom part (below the fold) should be oriented normally, as they will appear when the card is opened.

Vertical Fold (Side-to-Side Fold)

Outside Design (One File):

  • Contains both the front cover and back cover in a single design file.
  • Layout: Place the front cover on the right and the back cover on the left.
  • Orientation: Both the front and back covers should be oriented normally (right-side up) in the design file.

Inside Design (One File):

  • Contains both the left and right parts of the inside in a single design file.
  • Layout: The right part goes on the right, and the left part goes on the left, and both are normally oriented.
