Note: For folders printed on 14 pt. gloss cover stock, a UV gloss coating is applied to the exterior, including pockets, for a vibrant finish. The interior remains uncoated and non-glossy. Exterior printing includes the pockets.
Recommendations: Our most popular choice is 14 pt. gloss cover stock, which delivers vivid colors with a glossy sheen. However, this finish is not ideal for writing. For folders requiring exterior writing, we recommend 14 pt. uncoated stock for a smooth, writable surface.
Thinner cardstock. Made from recycled materials, it features a smooth, dull matte finish. Writing on this cardstock is possible, but it isn't ideal since it takes a few seconds for the ink to absorb.
Most popular! Gloss coated with a high UV finish. It feels smooth and makes the colors appear vibrant and shiny. You can't write on the glossy side.
Best for Writing! This cardstock has a natural paper feel with a slight texture, and it is ideal for writing on as it instantly absorbs the ink without smearing.
Thicker cardstock. This paper comes with a smooth, dull, matte, silky finish. It is possible to write on it, but it is not as ideal as it takes a few seconds to absorb the ink.
Templates: Download the template and open it in your design program. The template is correctly sized with the proper resolution and color mode. Do not resize it. Use the template as a guide while designing. Once you're finished, delete the template layer and save your final artwork without template guidelines or instructions.
Be sure to save two versions of your file:
• One editable version you can modify later
• One flattened version to send us for printing
To reduce file size, save your print-ready file in .jpg format. If you choose a different format, make sure all layers are flattened before submitting.

--- Safe Zone: All text, images, logos, etc., need to stay inside the blue line. Anything left outside the blue line may be cut off.
--- Cutting Zone: The product will be cut approximately along this area and shows the final size. Please allow extra space for cutting tolerance around your prints. We recommend no borders due to shifting in the cutting process, borders may appear uneven.
--- Bleed Zone: To avoid white edges on your prints, ensure that the background images or colors extend all the way to the outer edge of the designated black line, known as the bleed. The bleed is the extra background that will be trimmed off after printing, allowing for a clean, edge-to-edge finish.
--- Fold Lines: This is where your print will be folded.
--- No Ink Zone: This area is reserved for glue.
--- Blank Area For Pockets: This area will be hidden after folding.
REMINDER!
- Please send artwork without blue, pink, and black guidelines.
- No crop marks.
- Zoom in to 100% to check your resolution quality. Your artwork will print as sharp as it looks at 100% zoom.
- If you send files as .EPS, .PDF, or .AI, all texts should be converted to outline.
- If using Photoshop, flatten your image and save it as a JPG or PDF. This will prevent fonts from converting to defaults.
Production: After design approval, printing, cutting, folding, and packaging typically take 4–7 business days. Orders over 2,500 may add 3 additional business days per 2,500. Production time is an estimate, not a guarantee, and cannot be expedited.
Shipping: Shipping takes an estimated 2–5 business days, beginning once your order is printed and picked up by the carrier. Faster options, like 2nd Day Air, are available at checkout.
