The dry erase coating is a UV-cured glossy lamination applied over your custom-printed design on a 1/8" white expanded PVC board. This coating creates a smooth, non-porous surface that allows you to write with dry erase markers and erase easily without affecting the underlying printed graphic. This feature ensures your board remains functional and up-to-date for dynamic applications like menus or schedules.
How is the design printed on the PVC board?
We use direct UV printing with high-quality UV inks to ensure vibrant, long-lasting colors. The matte finish enhances the visual appeal while providing scratch resistance. This process ensures your design is durable and fade-resistant, even in outdoor conditions.
Can I print on both sides of the PVC board?
Yes, we offer both single-sided and double-sided printing options. Double-sided printing is perfect for signs that need visibility from multiple directions.
Can I write over my printed design with dry erase markers?
Yes, the glossy dry erase coating is designed to let you write directly over your printed design using standard dry erase markers. You can erase the writing cleanly without damaging or affecting the vibrant UV-printed graphic underneath, making it ideal for frequently updated displays.
Is the dry erase PVC board magnetic?
No, the board is made from 1/8" expanded PVC, which does not have magnetic properties. Unlike steel or porcelain-based dry erase boards, this lightweight PVC board is not magnetic but offers excellent durability and flexibility for custom signage.
What is the difference between this dry erase PVC board and a standard dry erase board?
Unlike standard dry erase boards, typically made from melamine or porcelain, our dry erase PVC boards are crafted from lightweight, durable 1/8" expanded PVC with a custom-printed design covered by a UV-cured dry erase coating. This allows for personalized graphics while maintaining full dry erase functionality, offering a unique combination of customization and versatility.
1/8" white expanded PVC board is a lightweight, slightly pliable, and water-resistant material designed for durability. With a smooth surface, it’s ideal for vibrant UV printing, offering scratch-proof and UV-safe properties for both indoor and outdoor use.
Templates: Download the template and open it in your design program. The template is correctly sized with the proper resolution and color mode. Do not resize it. Use the template as a guide while designing. Once you're finished, delete the template layer and save your final artwork without the template guidelines or instructions.
Be sure to save two versions of your file:
• One editable version you can modify later
• One flattened version to send us for printing
To reduce file size, save your print-ready file in .jpg format. If you choose a different format, make sure all layers are flattened before submitting.

Production: After design approval, printing, cutting, and packaging typically take 2–3 business days. Production time is an estimate, not a guarantee, and cannot be expedited.
Shipping: Shipping takes an estimated 2–5 business days, beginning once your order is printed and picked up by the carrier. Faster options, like 2nd Day Air, are available at checkout.
